Shape Analysis of the Peripapillary RPE Layer in Papilledema and Ischemic Optic Neuropathy

Geometric morphometric analysis of the optic disc OCT was used to analyze the shape of the peripapillary RPE layer in papilledema, normals, and ischemic optic neuropathy. The translaminar pressure differential in papilledema exhibited a distinctive deformation that was absent in other forms of disc edema or normals.
